Welcome to jconart.com! I’m Joshua D. Conley, born and raised in Detroit, MI, who since I was young drew on anything, whether it was the cardboard backs of old pads or unused work documents. Emulating my favorite ‘80s cartoons, I drew comic strips and created makeshift novellas, complete with a construction paper cover.

I eventually graduated from Cass Technical High School and then Dartmouth College, majoring in Computer Science. As a sophomore, I began taking art classes, falling short of an arts minor.

I soon landed an ITS position at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. Seeing the opportunity as a Godsend, I am now majoring in Illustration, cultivating an age-old hobby for professional pursuits!
